Greener Greens is a community organization which is part of the global Food Security campaign. We
work with small scale farmers in the ACP countries to meet food security goals through helping
practice of sustainable and responsible productions. At Greener Greens we promote best practices in
farming fostering ethical trading for sustainable development and the improvement of people’s
livelihoods in the communities involved. This is seen achievable by reaching out to Global markets
and developing a system that works in a sustainable manner through tailor made training systems
together with primary agricultural systems.

At Greener Greens our goal is to implement and develop agribusiness trade between markets and small scale farmers. Greener Greens is an organized entity which comprises of Horticulture Consultants,
Agronomists, Produce Marketing Organizations and Freight Companies. Through Greener Greens the
Global village can access Standards certified quality fresh produce from dedicated small holder
farmers that even have less than a hectare of planting space each. Greener Greens (GG) is committed
to assist Global consumers in acquiring specific demand based produce through contracts made
possible between the producer groups and the consumer groups for sustainable production. A
healthy body makes a healthy mind; healthy minds build healthy relations and healthy relations yield
great nations, this all comes from healthy foods that come from healthy soils. Small scale holder
farmers in Southern Africa as an example possess fields with rich soils that produce some of the best
quality and tasty crops worldwide. From fresh fruits to fresh vegetables and natural herbs, Southern
Africa remains the heart of African pride in crop production. Our mission at Greener Greens is to
build close relations between small scale farmers and global consumers who require organic
produced fruits and vegetables. Putting an emphasis on ethical trading we at Greener Greens strive
to facilitate Responsible and Ethical Production by assisting farmers with knowledge of best farming
practices in Crop protection, Hygiene and food safety, Organic Agriculture, Regulations and Private
Standards, Risk Management, Integrated crop Management and Traceability. This we offer to small
scale farmers that are willing to operate their fields profitably as a business. We bridge the gap
between remote small holder producers and consumers worldwide.

From centuries agriculture has witnessed development in different farming methods some of which
have been successful and some of which have been down casted. ACP countries still remain a step
behind in implementing these new ideas and skills in farming and yet still these countries continue to
be a lucrative source of food security world over. The human population is expected to reach 9 billion
by 2050; Global food brands are already feeling the need to increase supply of quality produce
gradually. Today a new youthful team has emerged to help shape the future of quality fruits and
vegetable supplies. At Greener Greens we are prepared to assist Global Produce Marketing
Organizations to acquire rare quality produce from ACP countries through law binding supply.
